Biyoleta handles the following information to provide and improve this service.
Accounts and comments
We use Supabase Auth to handle email addresses and authentication information. We store your account identifier, display name, comments and posting times for authentication, comment management and support. Display names and comments are public; email addresses are not. Authentication cookies maintain your signed-in session. You can delete your account in settings. Comment text and posting times remain under “Deleted account”; we remove your display name and account association. Personal information written in comment text is not automatically removed. Delete any comments you do not want to keep before closing your account. Contact us below about other deletion requests.
Information and purposes
We store your selected recordings, selection times and processing status, together with a cookie-based identifier, to remember and change your picks, calculate totals and prevent fraudulent voting. We also store your language preference in a cookie. Voting does not require your name or email address.
Cookies and security
Voting and language cookies last up to one year. We use a hash derived from an IP address for rate limiting. Providers that deliver, host and protect the service may also process IP addresses, browser details and access logs. You can delete or restrict cookies in your browser, but this may prevent us from remembering your picks and language preference.
Analytics and abuse prevention
We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand usage and improve the site. Visited pages, device and browser details, and cookie identifiers may be sent to Google. Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse and processes browser and connection information. The links below explain these providers’ practices.
Storage and external services
We manage information for the purposes described above and use safeguards such as access controls. We do not disclose personal information without consent where consent is legally required, except for necessary processing by service providers or other circumstances permitted by law. Providers may process information outside your country. External websites have their own terms and privacy policies.
